Dear Business Owner,Once again, the Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association will be hosting our annual Winter Fling and silent auction on Saturday, March 4 at Legion Brewing on Commonwealth Ave in Charlotte. This has been a neighborhood tradition for years, and annually we bring hundreds of neighbors together to mix, mingle and raise funds for our community – one of Charlotte’s oldest and most diverse neighborhoods.

All money raised from our silent auction will go to The Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association (PMNA) at-large. In recent years, money raised from this event has helped fund our summer movies in the park series, our community garden, beautification and improvements around the neighborhood and provided funding to neighborhood schools, charities and events.

To make this happen, however, we need your help. The vast majority of revenue from this event comes from the silent auction, so we’re asking our neighbors and friends for donations in the form of tickets, merchandise, gift cards, hosted events or tastings – really anything at all.

In other words, what you give is up to you, but your donation will serve to both raise funds for the neighborhood and advertise your business. We expect more than 500 people to attend the event, and it can be a terrific opportunity to showcase your commitment to helping communities in Charlotte to both our neighborhood and residents from around the city.
