New programs have recently launched in the Charlotte area making this a good time to consider reducing your energy consumption while improving your bottom line, not to mention increasing the value of your property.
Energy Retrofit Grant Program
The City of Charlotte has recently announced another grant opportunity to help commercial property owners undertake energy retrofits. A FREE pre-application workshop will occur from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on March 12th at Charlotte's Old City Hall building (600 E. Trade Street).   READ MORE


Solar panels installed at Mechanical Contractors, Inc. with the help of a $44,000 Energy Retrofit Grant from the City of Charlotte.
$15 Million Energy Retrofit Loan Fund
Self Help, a non-profit community development lender, launched a $15 million loan program in Charlotte last month to fund energy-efficiency and renewable-energy upgrades to commercial buildings, small businesses, child care facilities and charter schools.
